Retop created a unique LED tower for Nascar and IndyCar at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. This double-faced, large format screen continuously displays live video feed and scoring information.
The tower stands more than 45.72m from top to bottom and is designed to withstand winds loads of 150 mph or more during hurricane season. With a pixel pitch of 22mm, the LED tower is engineered to ensure high visibility, even under the glaring Florida sun.
This design of this LED system is unique as was constructed in a way that allows components to be swapped between different facilities resulting in significantly lower operating and servicing costs.
